The launch date for Broadway Park has been announced as the 1st May 2010. How exciting! Here is all we know about what will be going on in the first few weeks.
There will only be a small cast, the creator, Adam Howard, has claimed this is so that "the audience can get to know characters 1 at a time instead of 30 at a time." So who are the characters going to be? Up and coming actress Katie Finch has taken on the lead role as Summer Howard. Other confirmed actors include Alfie Long, Oliver Fursland, Kanchan Tooray, Glenn Turner and Amanda Miller. More to come on that soon ...

Just a few days away from the launch and we can reveal one of the characters will be battling for his life early on. No names have been revealed yet, but we are led to believe there will be a shooting in Broadway Park where one of the characters will be hit and will face a fight to hold onto his or her life. Very exciting stuff. The cast have remained tight lipped, but we did manage to squeeze this out of Glenn Turner, aka Lukas Langstone. "Yes one of the characters will be quite badly hurt. I cant say too much, just that it is not to be missed. But you'll h
ave to tune in to find out who and how." Cheeky so and so, could have at least given us a name ...
Someone gunned down in Broadway Park?

Only 24 hours to wait and excitement is growing. New characters and a new soap on T.V. I for one am ridiculously excited. But enough has been written already on the first couple of episodes by my collegues in the assorted press. I have some juicy gossip concerning new characters who should be arriving mid May. We will be introduced to Summer's father, we will be introduced to 2 new school students and one very devious school teacher. The most exciting news yet is that none other than Sir Michael Cain is going to make a 1 week cameo a
ppearance before the end of July as Summer's grandfather. Exciting times.
